Professional industrial water treatment equipment manufacturer in China, specializing in RO systems, reverse osmosis equipment, water purification systems, wastewater treatment and customized water treatment solutions for global industries.
his 20 TPH industrial RO plant produces 20,000 litres of pure water per hour from municipal tap water, groundwater or brackish water. Built on a skid-mounted SS304 stainless steel frame, the system combines multi-stage pretreatment with 8-inch (8040) reverse osmosis membranes to deliver a stable, continuous supply of high-purity process water. It is a factory-direct solution from Shandong Yufeng Water Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd., designed for industrial users who need reliability more than promises.

Reverse osmosis removes dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, organic matter and colloids without adding chemical agents. With a system salt rejection of ≥99.6% and a recovery rate of 70–75%, the plant turns raw water into consistent process water while keeping operating costs predictable.
High output, continuous duty: 20 m³/h rated permeate flow, engineered for 24/7 operation in industrial environments.
≥99.6% salt rejection: 8040 brackish water membranes remove dissolved solids, heavy metals, bacteria and organic contaminants in one pass.
Full pretreatment train: quartz sand filter + activated carbon filter + softening resin / antiscalant dosing + precision cartridge filter protects membranes and extends service life.
PLC + touch screen automation: automatic start/stop, low-pressure and high-pressure protection, automatic flushing, and one-key manual override for maintenance.
Skid-mounted, plug-and-play: complete unit pre-assembled and tested on one SS304 stainless steel skid — only water inlet, outlet and power connections are needed on site.
Corrosion-free wetted parts: FRP membrane housings, stainless steel high-pressure piping and brass electric solenoid valves for long service life.
Real-time monitoring: pressure gauges, tubular rotor flow meters and an online conductivity meter keep permeate quality visible at all times.
Component brands selectable: CNP raw water pump, Vontron membranes by default; CSM, LG or Dupont FilmTec membranes and Grundfos pumps available on request.
No chemical dosing required for separation: RO is a physical separation process — no regenerant acid/alkali, no ion exchange resin exhaustion.
Raw water → raw water pump → quartz sand filter → activated carbon filter → antiscalant / softening resin → precision (cartridge) filter → high-pressure pump → RO membrane system → pure water tank → UV / ozone sterilizer → point of use
Quartz sand filter — removes suspended solids, silt, rust and turbidity.
Activated carbon filter — adsorbs residual chlorine, colour, odour and organic matter (critical for protecting the RO membrane).
Antiscalant dosing / softening resin — reduces calcium and magnesium hardness and prevents membrane scaling.
Precision filter (5 µm PP) — final guard before the high-pressure pump.
High-pressure pump + RO membranes — forces water through the semi-permeable membrane; only water molecules pass.
UV / ozone sterilizer (optional) — guarantees microbiological safety of the finished water.

Q1: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer with more than 16 years of experience in water treatment equipment, located in Linyi, Shandong. Factory visits are welcome — we can pick you up from the airport or railway station.
Q2: What information do you need to quote a 20 TPH RO plant?
A: Three things: (1) the raw water test report or at least the TDS value, (2) the required pure water output per hour or per day, and (3) what the pure water will be used for. With those we can size the membranes, select the pump and send a detailed quotation within 24 hours.
Q3: What is the difference between 8040 and 4040 membranes?
A: 8040 elements are 8 inches in diameter and roughly four times the membrane area of a 4040 element. A 20 TPH plant needs 8040 elements to keep the number of pressure vessels, footprint and piping reasonable. 4040 elements are used on small commercial units below about 2 TPH.
Q4: How often do the membranes need to be replaced?
A: Typically every 2–3 years, depending on feed water quality and how well the pretreatment is maintained. Pretreatment cartridges are changed every 3–6 months, and quartz sand / activated carbon every 1–2 years.
Q5: Can the plant run on 220V 60Hz power?
A: Yes. Voltage, frequency and phase are built to your local grid. 220V/60Hz three-phase, 415V/50Hz and 380V/50Hz are all available; motors and control cabinet are matched accordingly.
Q6: Do you provide installation and commissioning?
A: Every unit is fully assembled and tested before shipment, so on-site work is limited to connecting water and power. We provide English manuals, wiring diagrams and remote video guidance. On-site engineer dispatch is available for larger projects.
Q7: Do you support OEM?
A: Yes. As the equipment manufacturer we offer OEM branding on the control panel, nameplate and documentation, plus ODM design according to your specification.
